Best way to secure a 2003/2004 acc? - A U R O R A - Sep 5, 2016 What is best way of securing these from recovery? Or is practically impossible to keep it 100% safe from recovery? I've got a few ideas on what I should do, but I don't think it's enough. -Family view pin -Phone verification -Steam Guard (obviously) -Buy from seller who sells original email + key - What if this isn't an option? Thank. * - 1tap - Sep 5, 2016 Remove hl1 package Someone told me to do this awhile Ago, not sure if it works though * - rezzex - Sep 5, 2016 You should buy a Game Key and use it on that Acc, then if the Support asks you can give that Key to them. * - SIM-3100985 - Sep 5, 2016 (Sep 5, 2016 01:19 AM)rezzex Wrote: You should buy a Game Key and use it on that Acc, then if the Support asks you can give that Key to them. wont work trust me * - J.A.C.K - Sep 5, 2016 if you have a gift sent to your account via someone on steam support normally ask for that secondly after asking for the original email. And if you think hard, you just may find out what it is. It has nothing to do with futile purchases, manipulating support or any other garbage method. The same method can be used to recover old accounts in the first place, before re-selling them. 🤝 @OP, your best bet in your case is to buy an empty 7-digit from early 2004. If you need help with it, just send me a message. * - chiptunegod - Sep 5, 2016 Best way to keep your account fully secured its owning original key that has been used to create account in 2003\2004. Removing hl1 or just first game wont help you at all. Support still will ask for proof of purchase of first game. If you'll saw Burton J. in your support ticket then just close it and forget about your account. * - w4ʀɴɪɴɢ - Sep 5, 2016 Add tons of tons of money with your creditcard and stay on the same IP. * - lenni - Sep 5, 2016 (Sep 5, 2016 02:00 AM)michimon Wrote: You're off topic.
