Can I overwrite .dll and output a different .dll if it's opened with OpenFileDialog? - Pernille - Oct 28, 2016 Question's in the title. Say the original .dll is 12121212, and a user loads it onto my program with OpenFileDialog, can my program change the 12121212 to a 34343434? If so can someone please show me how to do that? When you use OpenFileDialog, you are just getting a reference to the file. * - Pernille - Oct 28, 2016 (Oct 28, 2016 06:05 AM)Rawrrasaurus Wrote: Yes. Using a FileStream, you can modify the contents of the file. * - mrkoolaid - Oct 28, 2016 short answer, yes. long answer... just ask another question lol Also, you would use a hex editor (hiew) or something to change the values. remember if your changing the values they have to be the same size or the exe will probably fail to execute |
