Learn something new and fun in a few minutes. Part 1 - DontWorryBeHappy - Nov 14, 2016 Hey everyone, Posting some fun things many people probably simply didn't know about. Simple fun knowledge that we can all use to mess with our friends or relatives and that most of us may not have learned in the classroom. We're on the internet messing around anyway, why not learn something in 30 seconds right? Enjoy! So basically why this works is because the alka seltzer creates CO2. The CO2 that forms is denser (heavier) than the oxygen in the air so it remains in the container. When the container is "poured over" the fire, the CO2 "pours" out like water would and falls downward - again, because it's denser than the air around it. As it result, it suffocates the flame (pushes the air away from the flame which the flame needs to survive) and puts it out. This is a cool/fun trick to do at the holidays or with your drunk friends if you drink. other alka seltzer fun https://www.alkaseltzer.com/science-experiments/rockets/ * - muppy - Nov 14, 2016 woah !! the web is so cool man this totes rocks dude thanker for the post ! :)))))))))) * - DontWorryBeHappy - Nov 14, 2016 (Nov 14, 2016 05:17 PM)muppy Wrote: woah !! the web is so cool man this totes rocks dude thanker for the post ! :)))))))))) lol, no problem, glad you enjoyed it [ * - muppy - Nov 14, 2016 oh my GOD !! this one so is very good festive and it all :)))))))) * - DontWorryBeHappy - Nov 14, 2016 (Nov 14, 2016 05:19 PM)muppy Wrote: oh my GOD !! this one so is very good festive and it all :)))))))) lol, i saw this on investigation science over the weekend and through it was so cool i had to share * - muppy - Nov 14, 2016 yes it is cooler more of than when it start at the beging ! * - DontWorryBeHappy - Nov 14, 2016 (Nov 14, 2016 05:21 PM)muppy Wrote: yes it is cooler more of than when it start at the beging ! on the tv show the host lit 100 candles and put 100 alka's into a giant tube, let it build up then poured the tube over the candles and put all 100 out before the gas was gone. * - muppy - Nov 14, 2016 oH MY GOOSBIES that really good! * - spooky hacker - Nov 14, 2016 is it allowed to try this out home or can we have illegal consequence or danger.. * - DontWorryBeHappy - Nov 14, 2016 (Nov 14, 2016 05:23 PM)spooky hacker Wrote: is it allowed to try this out home or can we have illegal consequence or danger.. i can't see how this could be dangerous unless u tried to light ur house on fire... dur i tried this small scale and just had a good laugh because i thought it was cool * - muppy - Nov 14, 2016 haha it must be so a good laugh without it danger or any of that * - DontWorryBeHappy - Nov 14, 2016 (Nov 14, 2016 05:27 PM)muppy Wrote: haha it must be so a good laugh without it danger or any of that it's the simple things that we have to indulge in a little knowledge, a little fun, why not * - DontWorryBeHappy - Nov 18, 2016 just thought more people might want to get a good laugh * - Mom - Nov 18, 2016 Honestly, never seen anything like it, thanks for sharing OP. * - DontWorryBeHappy - Nov 18, 2016 (Nov 18, 2016 07:08 PM)TaiLopez Wrote: Honestly, never seen anything like it, thanks for sharing OP. no problem glad you enjoyed it im wanting some replies of people who did this over the holiday |
