Thanks[/php] * - Compoze - Nov 23, 2016 Well can't you just modify the code to give it any value you want? * - ccg. - Nov 23, 2016 Maybe you are looking for something like VolumeID tool? technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897436.aspx * - bozboz - Nov 24, 2016 (Nov 23, 2016 02:28 PM)Compoze Wrote: Well can't you just modify the code to give it any value you want? You have to physically access the eeprom with an eeprom programmer to do that. Which means you probably have to take your hard disk apart until you find the right eeprom chip and connect that to the eeprom programmer so you can read from it and write a new serial number to it. Then put it back wherever it goes and put your hard disk back together and stick it back in your computer. Volume ID/Serial: its something completely different.
