As we can see from the feature list, both are the exact same botnet. I also have a friend who reached out to the original Omega Net coder (https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5215529&highlight=omeganet) and he confirmed that Metro HTTP is OmegaNET:

Metro most likely didn't know it was rethemed litehttp since he bought it from OmegaNET's coder. Thermal knows that it is because he knows omeganet == metro http. And he knows that OmegaNet == LiteHTTP (as we can see on the last page of the omeganet thread). Therefore he can't defend himself like this.

Metro isn't liteHTTP fucking kek. Omega is and I closed all sales once I knew that.
