Why do prisoners get sad when they get the death penalty? - Donald Trump Jr. - Dec 23, 2016 I know I would rather get the death penalty then spend my life in jail, I cant imagine anyone else would think other wise. You get a last meal whatever you want, literally WHATEVER you want and if the execution doesn't mess up the death is quick and fast. * - Ƭony - Dec 23, 2016 I think it's more of a final answer type of thing. Sorta like a reality check. * - fapninja - Dec 23, 2016 I hear that after you spend your first year in jail, you get used to it. * - Cabo - Dec 23, 2016 If you were told exactly what day you were going to die and how you're going to die, you wouldn't get sad? I'd rather get the death penalty too but shit, I'd be sad. * - Truth - Dec 23, 2016 If you're still alive there is always hope * - Donald Trump Jr. - Dec 23, 2016 (Dec 23, 2016 12:31 AM)fapninja Wrote: I hear that after you spend your first year in jail, you get used to it. I would rather get the death penalty then spend a year in jail, Bubba aint touching my ass * - test - Dec 23, 2016 You say that now but if someone told you that you were going to be killed you would probably freak too. You don't really think about it in detail too much until you are actually facing that situation. * - Dabbed - Dec 23, 2016 (Dec 23, 2016 12:32 AM)TryAgain Wrote: If you're still alive there is always hope This. Plus, a life sentence doesn't really mean "in prison until death". * - Donald Trump Jr. - Dec 23, 2016 (Dec 23, 2016 12:32 AM)TryAgain Wrote: If you're still alive there is always hope Hope for the next day of bars in your room, your trapped like a caged animal. * - fapninja - Dec 23, 2016 (Dec 23, 2016 12:32 AM)DontSellMeBitcoin Wrote: I would rather get the death penalty then spend a year in jail, Bubba aint touching my ass Bubba always gets what Bubba wants. * - Mr.Peanut - Dec 23, 2016 I can't imagine myself in a position like that but you must also consider the people who (rarely but honestly are) falsely accused waiting for some sort of hope. Also, every bit of connection w/ you friends, family, all the stress and success life brought, everything all to end. Not too pleasant. * - SIM-403479 - Dec 23, 2016 I would much rather be living. * - Anticipate - Dec 23, 2016 Depending on the prison, I'd still prefer to stay alive. Life is the most valuable thing in this world and unless the situation hasn't become completely unbearable, I'd want to hold on. * - Mr. Robot - Dec 23, 2016 I would always hold onto some sort of hope, maybe the next president will change laws, maybe there's an incident and you get out? Maybe a zombie apocalypse happens and you get to live outside. Who knows. But really, you are talking about the day they get the death penalty compared to life in prison. You can still make friends in prison, and you can still enjoy your time there. * - Yandere - Dec 23, 2016 Like others said I think anybody know matter who they are or what they've done would be at-least a little bit sad knowing the exact day and way they're going to die. |
