How can I permanently stop it? * - Canonsx130 - Dec 25, 2016 Did you try the method specified here http://superuser.com/questions/949569/can-i-completely-disable-cortana-on-windows-10 ? * - Captain Steve Rogers - Dec 26, 2016 (Dec 25, 2016 09:00 PM)Canonsx130 Wrote: Did you try the method specified here http://superuser.com/questions/949569/can-i-completely-disable-cortana-on-windows-10 ? Tried mate, doesn't work on latest update. * - God - Dec 26, 2016 That crap is like one of the viruses I got a few years ago. No matter how hard you tried to get rid of it, it just wouldn't go * - Canonsx130 - Dec 26, 2016 (Dec 26, 2016 04:29 AM)#Programmer Wrote: Tried mate, doesn't work on latest update. Hmm.. Unfortunately I think the best you can do is disable Cortana through Regedit or something but the process will still be running in the background. Else you'd have to ditch the search function entirely.. * - Captain Steve Rogers - Dec 26, 2016 (Dec 26, 2016 04:32 AM)smye Wrote: That crap is like one of the viruses I got a few years ago.
