bοxxy: Hello David Haller and welcome to the 333 edition of the Hack Forums news. Before we begin, would you like to give any shout outs?
David Haller: Hi :) yeah to Cameron and Career :) And to my members of MightyAssassins!

bοxxy: That's what's up. You're relatively new here, what exactly brought you here to the forums?
David Haller: I have been member on the forum since 2010, but I was not very active because my English was very bad at that time. I was spending time on the french forums. Two years ago I moved to USA, so as soon as my English was improved I was back to here. I am really out-going person, so I am open to new people, skills connected to communications (helping, talking, sharing experiences) and all hacking things. I knew this hacking forum was place to share my interests with others and that was the reason why I came back.

bοxxy: Ah, where did you move from exactly? Also, how has the forum changed over time from when you first joined to when you first came back?
David Haller: I moved from France, miss the country <3. All I could remember is the weird design and all the illegal stuff on here. It was really blackhat!

bοxxy: Ah, France. What interests and hobbies do you have that keep you here and involved with the community today?
David Haller: I already kind of responded to this question, but basically this community is not like another one. Its something special going on here. People are very helpful, even if not everybody sees it. I'm someone who wants to help people that are young and motivated.

bοxxy: What kind of goals do you have set for yourself, and where do you see yourself succeeding in life?
David Haller: I am working on the big project, it connects with technology and I understood that this is my passion for now and the future, in a few years I see myself as a person who does something that I really love, and Hack Forums is the place where I can find people with the same interests and hobbies so I can improve my skills and meet people who are interested in programming and games, and these topics are my favorite to talk about.

bοxxy: I see. So tell me, why David Haller as a name?
David Haller: The new TV show of Marvel and FX on Hulu, LEGION. A great series, with the same producer of Fargo. In a few months it will be very famous. I also loved the character/personage.

bοxxy: I personally haven't started watching it yet, but I've heard good things. I see you're in Torque(great group by the way). Have you been in any other groups since your stay here?
David Haller: No, not really. By the way, I own a gaming subforum password protected in Torque group. Which is working great! I have more amazing plans for it, so if you like playing games you can post in the recruitment thread ! (Small ad :p)

bοxxy: I've met a bunch of people here and games with them. What kind of games are you into? And of course, PC or console?
David Haller: I've been playing games for almost 12 years. I'm playing all my games on PC, I can't aim on xbox/ps because of the controller. I only playing Fifa on my Xbox One. I play mainly CS:GO, Overwatch and The Witcher 3 mainly, but I'm always looking/playing new games.

bοxxy: Ah, haven't gotten to The Witcher 3 yet. :P CS:GO is pretty big here especially. A few more things before we wrap this one up. What are some things you like/dislike here on Hack Forums as either a site/community/etc.?
David Haller: I hate eBooks! It's a hacking forum but everybody is selling books. I understand that is helping Omni to pay the servers but it should be limited at one point. Except that everything is perfect! This is the reason that I already have 1k posts and I'm not ready to leave the forum. I would love to see more giveaway awards from Omni too, because at this time it's pretty hard to get some of them, you really need to prove it that you are worth to get one. I'm sure you going to see me here in 10 years. Maybe one day Admin, who knows ;)

bοxxy: Not personally a fan of money making eBooks myself, although there are some good instructional eBooks. We all know the "Make $1 million a day for $19.99" eBooks are complete bs. Anyways, is there anything else you'd like to add before we complete this interview?
David Haller: I would like to thank the staff, the writers team, the Torque group members, the MightyAssassins members. And I hope I'll stay for a long time here and see the forum evolve! Thank you Hackforums a lot ! Love you all ;) (love you my gf too)
