I was given a suggestion today.

It was a good suggestion, I reviewed code, it was plausible, it was useful, it was immediately done.
Proof that I read suggestions and when they are within certain parameters they get implemented.
Oh...btw..instructions to use the feature:
Click the "Thread Options" at the top right and choose the "View Your Posts" option. Will display thread normally if you have no posts in the thread. If you do have posts then only your own will display.

It's really a great future Omni, but to do the same with posts of other members in a thread would be also pretty useful imo. If you search a username you only see the posts in which he got quoted.

No, that's not going to be implemented. It would require more overhead because each posts would need to be parsed for the "quote=Username" posts. And then if a user changes their name the feature wouldn't work.
It's not my fault or my problem to fix how MyBB implemented their quote system. It's functional but it was never designed to be something for notifications. Unsure if they'll fix that in 2.0 but I don't think we'll ever use MyBB 2.0 on HF. We'll go to another software before we do that.
