'Account Compromised' in Rep. Is it reputation Abuse? - Theo™ - Mar 17, 2017 Hello everyone, This is my personal account and I have full control over it. But a member has just changed his positive rep to 'Account Compromised' on my profile even though it is not. Is it reputation abuse? Kindly help as it really gives the bad impression on my profile. * - Quinck - Mar 17, 2017 Have you PM'd the member about this to try and resolve it? * - Jаson - Mar 17, 2017 What is reputation abuse? Reputation abuse can be very complicated subject matter. Here is a list of the following ways reputation can be viewed as abuse. • Flaming: Using extremely coarse language to describe or berate a member. • Reputation as a currency: We do not allow the buying or selling of reputations. • Gang Rep: The act of coordination with other members to raise or lower a member’s reputation is not allowed. • Rep Coercion: Using intimidation, threats, or blackmail to get reps added or removed. • Rep Requesting: You cannot give hints, tips, or request reputations. • Scammer Reputation: You're required to leave a link to a Deal Dispute thread you have created to infer someone is a scammer (ie: scammer, scams, chargebacks, scamming). Please note that a Deal Dispute link must be your own thread you've created. It cannot be a thread opened by another member. • Deal Dispute Linking: We don't allow you to link to a Deal Dispute forum thread that's opened by another member. • Reputation Collusion: Agreeing to participate in reciprocal reputations with a member. We recommend you take the time to read the HF Help Documents section. The answer to your questions should be contained in there. * - Theo™ - Mar 17, 2017 (Mar 17, 2017 03:50 AM)Quinck Wrote: Have you PM'd the member about this to try and resolve it? Try to message him once again and get it resolved, if not, you are stuck with the negative and just have to deal with it unfortunately. * - Theo™ - Mar 17, 2017 (Mar 17, 2017 03:57 AM)Jasоn Wrote: No. So, i should just ignore this rep. He was once a good friend. However i will try sending a PM to him. If he doesn't respond, probably i will have to live with this :/ * - Leroy Jethro Gibbs - Mar 17, 2017 That type of rep is not rep abuse. Omni posts that rep on peoples shit all the time when they are under investigation and the rep is usually never removed. * - Theo™ - Mar 17, 2017 (Mar 17, 2017 04:01 AM)Leroy Jethro Gibbs Wrote: That type of rep is not rep abuse. Looks like ignoring the shitty rep is the only choice left. Thanks everyone, for taking your time to help me in this. 🤝 Closing Thread. * - Mr Kewl - Mar 17, 2017 Not reputation abuse. PM the member and politely talk it out. |
