Policy Question

'Account Compromised' in Rep. Is it reputation Abuse?

Hello everyone,
This is my personal account and I have full control over it. But a member has just changed his positive rep to 'Account Compromised' on my profile even though it is not. Is it reputation abuse? Kindly help as it really gives the bad impression on my profile.
Have you PM'd the member about this to try and resolve it?

What is reputation abuse?
Reputation abuse can be very complicated subject matter. Here is a list of the following ways reputation can be viewed as abuse.
• Flaming: Using extremely coarse language to describe or berate a member.
• Reputation as a currency: We do not allow the buying or selling of reputations.
• Gang Rep: The act of coordination with other members to raise or lower a member’s reputation is not allowed.
• Rep Coercion: Using intimidation, threats, or blackmail to get reps added or removed.
• Rep Requesting: You cannot give hints, tips, or request reputations.
• Scammer Reputation: You're required to leave a link to a Deal Dispute thread you have created to infer someone is a scammer (ie: scammer, scams, chargebacks, scamming). Please note that a Deal Dispute link must be your own thread you've created. It cannot be a thread opened by another member.
• Deal Dispute Linking: We don't allow you to link to a Deal Dispute forum thread that's opened by another member.
• Reputation Collusion: Agreeing to participate in reciprocal reputations with a member.

We recommend you take the time to read the HF Help Documents section. The answer to your questions should be contained in there.

He was once a good friend of mine, but he seems pissed for no reason. Is there a way i can send PM to Staff to look into this issue?

DO NOT PM staff about this. Try to message him once again and get it resolved, if not, you are stuck with the negative and just have to deal with it unfortunately.

Yea, messaging him won't help as he is pissed off. He was once a good friend. However i will try sending a PM to him. If he doesn't respond, probably i will have to live with this :/
That type of rep is not rep abuse. Omni posts that rep on peoples shit all the time when they are under investigation and the rep is usually never removed.

Yea i just read Reputation Abuse policy again. Looks like ignoring the shitty rep is the only choice left.

Thanks everyone, for taking your time to help me in this. 🤝

Closing Thread.
Not reputation abuse. PM the member and politely talk it out.
