Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by titans. Titans are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligence, devour human beings and, worst of all, seem to do it for the pleasure rather than as a food source. A small percentage of humanity survived by walling themselves in a city protected by extremely high walls, even taller than the biggest of titans.
Flash forward to the present and the city has not seen a titan in over 100 years. Teenage boy Eren and his foster sister Mikasa witness something horrific as the city walls are destroyed by a super titan that appears out of thin air. As the smaller titans flood the city, the two kids watch in horror as their mother is eaten alive. Eren vows that he will murder every single titan and take revenge for all of mankind.

I wish that they released this sooner because from what I've seen,
they hype for the series has died down quite a lot. I know it's still fairly popular but not like it once was before.

No lie this episode was amazing , definitely 10/10. I just hate that it's only 12 eps this season.

I was disappointed by the first season finale. The second season took way too long to come out. Too much hype on anticipation.
This may be a bit off topic.. but, I'm honestly waiting for the second live action. The first one was gross and a bit off but I'm mostly curious about the CG and what alternate retelling will occur.
Currently no luck of renting it. It is always out of stock when I go to the video store.

Watched ep 1 last night, somewhat starts where we left off at the end of S1. However, I think that the fact that this will only be 12 eps along with the wait of 4 years may harm the series overall. Also, the OP doesn't convey the same emotion that the other two did in S1.

I am looking forward to watching this when the series has finished airing. It's been far too long since it was last on and I know it'll probably disappoint in the end but I would at least like some closure on the series, hopefully. I don't read manga so it's been a long wait to see what happens next.
