Shingeki no Kyojin Season 2

Attack on Titan Season 2

Synopsis courtesy of MangaHelpers
Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by titans. Titans are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligence, devour human beings and, worst of all, seem to do it for the pleasure rather than as a food source. A small percentage of humanity survived by walling themselves in a city protected by extremely high walls, even taller than the biggest of titans.

Flash forward to the present and the city has not seen a titan in over 100 years. Teenage boy Eren and his foster sister Mikasa witness something horrific as the city walls are destroyed by a super titan that appears out of thin air. As the smaller titans flood the city, the two kids watch in horror as their mother is eaten alive. Eren vows that he will murder every single titan and take revenge for all of mankind.

I wish that they released this sooner because from what I've seen,
they hype for the series has died down quite a lot. I know it's still fairly popular but not like it once was before.

[Agramon]

Its about time! They waited too long to make a second season and kept delaying it...

[Realizm]

Yeah they've lost a lot of traction with delaying for so long but there are going to be a lot of people who watch it I'm sure.

So much dead hype for this series. Oh well, will obviously still see it through and probably enjoy it but damn they sure did take their sweet time. Better be worth it!

Yeah, these guys made season 2 too late

[hustle.]

No lie this episode was amazing , definitely 10/10. I just hate that it's only 12 eps this season.

The talking titan is beast af , i like how all the other titans are scared of him lol. Can't wait to see more about his kind.

i love aot but i preffered the first ep of boku no hero academia ;p

[joyboru]

I was disappointed by the first season finale. The second season took way too long to come out. Too much hype on anticipation.

This may be a bit off topic.. but, I'm honestly waiting for the second live action. The first one was gross and a bit off but I'm mostly curious about the CG and what alternate retelling will occur.

Currently no luck of renting it. It is always out of stock when I go to the video store.

How long after the season finally does this season take place?

---

I'm waiting to watch this for another couple of days.

About 5 minutes after.

Watched ep 1 last night, somewhat starts where we left off at the end of S1. However, I think that the fact that this will only be 12 eps along with the wait of 4 years may harm the series overall. Also, the OP doesn't convey the same emotion that the other two did in S1.

Thanks, I've always enjoyed shows that do this. Start right where the last episode/season stopped.

I am looking forward to watching this when the series has finished airing. It's been far too long since it was last on and I know it'll probably disappoint in the end but I would at least like some closure on the series, hopefully. I don't read manga so it's been a long wait to see what happens next.
