I believe that children were actually killing themselves over the game, and although the owner was making thousands and thousands a day he decided to remove it to avoid any legal issues and, well, to not have children killing themselves lol. That's what I heard at least.

The dev is a dumbass. He was making $50,000/day from advertisement. Said it was "too much" for him and removed the app from the app store. After some time went by, people kind of forgot about the game, he said he was planning to put it back on the app store. I don't know what is happening now but he fucked up.

For some people, money isn't everything in life. Getting death threats against your family and yourself would be cause for nearly anyone to think twice. Can't blame him, it is his decision after all.

I agree, many people forget that the human race is a trillion times more valuable then money.
Think about it, we are all different and unique so we are so much more valuable then currency.
