What actually happened to Flappy Bird? I know it got removed, but why did they have to remove it?

Must've been reported for animal right violations so in order to keep good PR, they removed it.
Note: I don't know actually...didn't even notice it was gone.
My hat used to be somewhere along the border of being grey but over the past few years, I realized my calling is to learn and help others out in ways that I can ethically. Learn as much as you can, experience, grow, educate, and throw yourself in uncomfortable situations.

I heard it was because the developer was getting death threats from angry gamers.

People are fucking crazy getting mad over the smallest of things.

The dev is a dumbass. He was making $50,000/day from advertisement. Said it was "too much" for him and removed the app from the app store. After some time went by, people kind of forgot about the game, he said he was planning to put it back on the app store. I don't know what is happening now but he fucked up.

For some people, money isn't everything in life. Getting death threats against your family and yourself would be cause for nearly anyone to think twice. Can't blame him, it is his decision after all.

Think about it, we are all different and unique so we are so much more valuable then currency. I apologize to everyone truly. I didn't do what I did just for the hell of it. Family needed food and a roof.
