My Email to Friends and Family - Omniscient - May 20, 2017 Usually when I'm around friends and family I start to talk about cryptos. It's always a bit difficult to get them to understand how important they are and how they are going to change the world. By the end of it I just tell them to do their own research and that I'll email them to get them started. This is the email I send and I thought to share it because maybe other members have had similar situations. Quote:If you're more interested in learning more about "crypto currencies" I'm going to do my best to break a few things down to you and provide you some important links for research. Of course you may want to edit it to suit your own views and sites you favor. * - Scooby Snacks - May 20, 2017 Thank you very much, it's all ahead to the top of future! Here we go! * - 05317832892 - May 20, 2017 Might send this to my grand-dad now. He seems fairly set in the mind set that you don't OWN your bitcoin and it could go at any time, I've tried explaining that its cryptographically secure but he ain't buying it. * - Patzan - May 20, 2017 In the near future we all gonna use crypto currencies as main currecies and this info is really useful. Nice share! * - Underworldproblem - May 20, 2017 Wow, this is a really helpful post. The crypto section has been blowing up lately, hopefully, it will help! * - Amp - May 20, 2017 Simple and to the point. I agree with you 100%, cryptos are the future. * - Plugs The Plug - May 20, 2017 That's cool of you to do Omni. Hopefully more people will send this to people too. * - Sors - May 20, 2017 Very useful! I've been trying to explain the importance and potential in cryptocurrencies to my pretty technically unable family so that's perfect! Nice one Omni * - Laski - May 20, 2017 Thanks, Omni. I'm actually in the same exact situation so i'll be using this. * - Industry - May 20, 2017 Nice little info nugget, I will definitely use this for future references to the crypto market. I still have a hard time explaining this to my father. I'm telling him it's the way of the future and that paper money will soon be a thing of the past. He always tells me I'm wrong and that he still gets his cable bills on paper 😏 Thanks again for the share though, going to tweak it a little and send it out to some of my close friends. * - Marv48 - May 20, 2017 Definitely useful, makes it easier for me. Like you said "maybe other members have had similar situations." is exactly where I fall. I wouldn't want them to miss out. * - Omniscient - May 20, 2017 Quote:Might send this to my grand-dad now. Yes, I get the same issue in discussions and repeatedly asked if it's insured or government backed. I bluntly tell them "NO" and then ask them if gold is government backed or insured. The same market forces that keep gold at a set prices also work with cryptos. And funny enough sometimes they think I'm personally trying to sell them something and make money from them in some way. The whole thing takes a lot of convincing and discussion but ultimately you must force them to think about it and do their own follow-up research. You'll never convince someone in 15 minutes to invest in fantasy online coins they can't hold in their hands. It's just not going to happen. I can tell they get the look like I'm some fringe nut ready to go into my bunker. * - Roberto Scorpius Malfoy - May 20, 2017 https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/omni/ Is this coin made by you? * - Darkwin - May 20, 2017 Thank you for this, I will definitely put this to use for family members that can't grasp what cryptos are. * - ZuGgY - May 20, 2017 Interesting. What does your wife think of these curriences, if you don't mind me asking? |
