I'm hosting a contest for all developers out there, to challenge yourselves and use the API provided by my service:

You are required to create an App or a Website, using ANY language you want, where you'll have to implement the API provided here.
To enter the contest, please post or PM me with your username on OnlineSMSVerification so I can give you enough credits for you to test the API.
2 Winners will be chosen, each will get to obtain the following as prize:
- 20$ worth of credits on OnlineSMSVerification
- Promotion of their App/Website on OnlineSMSVerification
Winners will be chosen by by, taking into consideration the creativity of their product, and its testing.

Hey, I'm afraid I can't do that language :(
Maybe I can help you fully understand the website instead ? OR blindly use it so you wont even need to know what it says. Plus, there's the API that you could use, we developers have a common language we all understand ^.^

Hi, I just created an account on your site. It seems that once you create an account, you aren't assigned a number, you've to make an api call to get a number & start receiving messages. Correct me if I'm wrong.

You're 100% correct.
As you can obtain unlimited numbers, it would be kind of silly from our side to assign you with a number. You just request the number with what project you need it for, and voila you got yourself a brand never used before number specially for your project ^.^

What about the charges of getting a new mobile number? Are they same as recieving a sms? I think it'd be better if user is given an initial number on sign up, on which he can start receiving messages. Can you top-up my account with some credits so that I can start playing around with it?
