Each project has it's own price, WhatsApp for example has a price of 0.6$ / SMS.

If you buy 40 credits for 20$ you're obtaining double the credits, as if you reduced prices to as low as 0.3 / SMS.

Might be offering coupons tho, will decide later.

If the social media account asks me to "re-verify" the phone number I originally used....will I be able to do that?

I'm afraid not, but usually almost every social number lets you change the number to a new one.

But still, I can't find the reason they'd ask you to re-verify ?

It's unlimited numbers per user. And you only get charged if you receive an SMS.
