With the help of Genuine, I wrote together a page for the Help Docs.
I think that it is needed to be added to the Help Docs so that you can easily refer users to the Help Docs to get an understanding of their warning points.
And also when new users are trying to get a better understanding, I think that the Help Docs is the first place they look.

The warning system is in place in order to give users a second chance. Instead of banning users for not following the site policy, staff members hand out
warning levels if your post is reported by another member who noticed that you violated a rule or if the staff member notices something themselves.

Here you can find the list of warnings, how many points they're worth and the duration of each warning.
Breaking any of the rules is prohibited and can lead to having your account banned.

40% warning disables your post feature for 24hours, starting from the time you've received the warning.
75% warning disables your post feature for one week, starting from the time you've received the warning.

From what I've heard / gotten to understand is that the only thing that is not allowed is:
"Post and I'll PM you the XXXXX"
Though it is allowed to do:
"PM me for XXX"

It's interesting information, but adding the color coded points you'll get just make it seem like you can do a few of the less red colored ones and still be perfectly fine wink*wink
Instead of scaring the user it might make them try and abuse it.
I think you are right, but damn, really want the colors. Not sure what to change it to.

I would think that it is because it is because it gives a forum a sort of "desperate" look.
It will force people to post, thereby the post count will look forced.
But if you do the exact opposite, not allowing people to be forced to post, the post count will be legit. Shows the true activity of a forum.
