Confused about selling my bitcoin on localbitcoin - Autist - Aug 5, 2017 https://localbitcoins.com/instant-bitcoins/?action=sell&country_code=US&amount=¤cy=USD&place_country=US&online_provider=CASH_BY_MAIL&find-offers=Search Okay say i chose https://gyazo.com/570042ab599ec788ff95a73d879634fa Do i need to send him 1 ($3.256) BTC and he sends me 2,677.95? So if i do this service i lose money? or is it i send him 1 ($3,256) and he sends me $3,256? * - webdev77 - Aug 5, 2017 You lose money on it. Almost all LBC sellers have a fee for their services. * - Malentor - Aug 5, 2017 YOU ARE SELLING AT 2677, MOST OFFERS THERE YOU LOSE MONEY * - Riyu - Aug 5, 2017 You would lose money doing that trade. * - Industry - Aug 5, 2017 (Aug 5, 2017 04:53 PM)Bart Allen Wrote: https://localbitcoins.com/instant-bitcoins/?action=sell&country_code=US&amount=¤cy=USD&place_country=US&online_provider=CASH_BY_MAIL&find-offers=Search That is the current buying rate or price that he is offering. Most buyers on LBC raise or lower prices based on payment method. I suggest you find another buyer, that offer is just blasphemy. * - thrudda - Aug 5, 2017 (Aug 5, 2017 04:53 PM)Bart Allen Wrote: Do i need to send him 1 ($3.256) BTC and he sends me 2,677.95? Yes, he is buying BTC for the price of $2677.95 * - Mr.JohnnyMix - Aug 5, 2017 Yes, you have to look for the best bang for your buck. Localbitcoins fees sometimes are high but some are reasonable, depends of the buyer, shop around, at least you're protected by escrow. * - Gay - Aug 5, 2017 You need to find a fair trade. In that trade, you send him 1 BTC, he sends you $2678 USD. Find one that pays you closer to $3200 * - Mr.JohnnyMix - Aug 5, 2017 This one is paying 4905, how come?? http://prntscr.com/g4w0rm * - Industry - Aug 5, 2017 (Aug 5, 2017 06:09 PM)Mr.JohnnyMix Wrote: This one is paying 4905, how come?? Not sure why he is overpaying, but his minimum deal amount is $25,000 so that may be why. But again, almost $5k per BTC 😑 * - Autist - Aug 5, 2017 (Aug 5, 2017 06:25 PM)Industry Wrote: Not sure why he is overpaying, but his minimum deal amount is $25,000 so that may be why. That's a great alternative if you have the time to wait until a buyer appears. |
