Baka News Weekly! Team Recruitment Thread - DerMensch24 - Sep 9, 2017

Hello AA! Currently I am the publisher for the Baka News Weekly and I am posting this to seek additional members to the News team! Here is our current team lineup:
Now then, before joining I want to put out a few prerequisites:
  • Must have a warning level of 20% or less
  • Must be able to post sections on time
  • Must have a Discord account for keeping in touch with the team
  • Be willing to want to have some fun with the project ;)

That being said, here are the current open spots for our News Team:
  • Headlines - Your role will be to catch the readers eye using the native weeb language of HF by finding the latest news stories in the anime and manga industry
  • Manga/VN Weekly Review - This segment will be the counterpart to the Anime Weekly Review
  • Music Director - Your role will be to gather information in the Japanese music industry as well as provide 2-3 music videos for each issue - Taken by Crya
  • Waifu of the Week - "Your waifu is shit ;)" (Your role is pretty self explanatory, but if you need help refer to the previous issues) - Taken by Bart Allen
  • Culture Guru - Your role will be a short section where you will describe an intriguing fun fact each week regarding Japanese culture - Taken by Oreki
  • Art Showcase - Your role will be to gather anime/manga-related artworks done by members of the site or elsewhere (be sure to give credit) - Taken by oscast
  • Interviews - Your role will be to interview fellow members (or actual anime/manga industry peeps if possible!) on topics of your choice
  • Opinionator - This individual will write an opinion piece regarding an anime/manga, news story that is relevant, and so forth to introduce a new insight for the readers.

If you have any interest with any of the positions, please respond down below that you are and the section(s) you would like to apply for. I will be in contact with you for any openings.

If you wish to recommend any new ideas/suggestions for the Baka News Weekly please post below! You will be credited for your suggestions if we use them!

Ye Tsun was unable to continue to help.

I'm interested in applying for the Culture Guru section, if you'll have me! Depending on when the next issue goes up, I have a good idea for it.

P.S. I'm already in the Baka Discord so you can find me there if needed.

Tsundere left Baka News the moment Baka was sold, he blocked most of us too.

The last few editions have been completely other people, like DerMensch, Aerodactyl, and VictorY.

Don't give Tsun credit when he hasn't even been involved in the project anymore.
