HTML & CSS Question - x_Terminal - Oct 5, 2017 I'm about to start learning html is html5 and html the same thing? is it better to start learning html or html5? same with css do I start learning css or css3? 🤝 * - C0rdyc3p5 - Oct 5, 2017 HTML5 is just the next version of HTML, like CSS3 is the next version of CSS. It's like saying which Windows is the best between Win 7 and Win 10. It's just newer and you have more function. The only cons is that if the person browsing your website is on Window 2000 with IE 4, your CSS3 and HTML5 tags will not be recognised and some functions will not work. But as essentially, almost everything will work. * - x_Terminal - Oct 5, 2017 (Oct 5, 2017 01:16 PM)C0rdyc3p5 Wrote: HTML5 is just the next version of HTML, like CSS3 is the next version of CSS. Almost all of the browsers will support HTML5, there is NO reason to ignore HTML5 while learning HTML. Doesn't make any sense. * - NOTHING MATTERS - Oct 5, 2017 I'm just gonna leave this here. https://freecodecamp.com * - x_Terminal - Oct 5, 2017 (Oct 5, 2017 02:24 PM)Charger Wrote: You will learn HTML by learning HTML5. so like I know nothing then just learn html5 is ok? * - Nachfolger - Oct 5, 2017 (Oct 5, 2017 02:27 PM)x_Terminal Wrote: so like I know nothing then just learn html5 is ok?Dude HTML & HTML5 are basically the same thing.
