Gaining folder permission and access using njrat - Dude1990 - Nov 12, 2017 I've been messing with NJrat and ratting my own VM. On NJrat there is a file manager. I tried just deleting a .jpg out of the Pictures folder and it wouldn't let me. Simply got an error:"Cant delete (the filepath to the picture)". Of course I can delete the file using remote desktop and manually controlling the cursor. But I'm talking about the NJrat's File Manager. It's let me delete other stuff, like text documents I put on the Desktop and in the My Pictures folder. But I can't even delete a .jpg? I figure I need to gain some permissions somehow. RE: Gaining folder permission and access using njrat - lakiid123456789 - Nov 25, 2017 Can you plz tell me where to download a safeNJrat RE: Gaining folder permission and access using njrat - CyberStrike - Nov 25, 2017 hmm if you can get a shell then you can check if you have access to write/read/append data to the folder/file in question, using accesschk, You may want to wait for someone who knows the functions of the specific to that RAT which you are using. I’ll try to do that when I get home later. It’s just wierd cause it’s an issue I’ve only had with njRat and nothing else. Every other rat program I’ve tested has worked fine so far as having access to the VM files to delete them. btw it’s the lime edition. When I originally wrote this it was an older version. RE: Gaining folder permission and access using njrat - CyberStrike - Dec 7, 2017 Yeah I never used NJRat, but using a shell you can check those permissions, another idea is that you might be running the program in a standard user account, not in Administrators group. You can double check that user account as well in shell with net user UserNameHere RE: Gaining folder permission and access using njrat - Dude1990 - Dec 8, 2017 I checked and the account is in the administrators group. I talked to Nyan Cat and he said my problem was wierd. I think it must be something with my VM. I’m gonna make another VM and try it on it. RE: Gaining folder permission and access using njrat - CyberStrike - Dec 8, 2017 Sounds good maybe some odd issue. Tried it on there and was able to delete a txt file, but unable to delete pictures. So weird. It's a minor thing but just enough to irritate me haha. RE: Gaining folder permission and access using njrat - CyberStrike - Dec 8, 2017 Wow that is odd if you can upload your own jpg and see if you cannot delete it. That is interesting, I would test that a bit, maybe try with different types of pictures gif/png/bmp |
