I've been messing with NJrat and ratting my own VM. On NJrat there is a file manager. I tried just deleting a .jpg out of the Pictures folder and it wouldn't let me. Simply got an error:"Cant delete (the filepath to the picture)". Of course I can delete the file using remote desktop and manually controlling the cursor. But I'm talking about the NJrat's File Manager. It's let me delete other stuff, like text documents I put on the Desktop and in the My Pictures folder. But I can't even delete a .jpg? I figure I need to gain some permissions somehow.

I’ll try to do that when I get home later. It’s just wierd cause it’s an issue I’ve only had with njRat and nothing else. Every other rat program I’ve tested has worked fine so far as having access to the VM files to delete them. btw it’s the lime edition. When I originally wrote this it was an older version. So weird. It's a minor thing but just enough to irritate me haha. |
