You are free to make any threads you want. I won't deny that I had help coding the crypter, just like you can't deny your parents taught you how to hold a spoon. I personally don't see what the big deal about it is. The user in question taught me a ton and helped me make my product what it is today, if anything I'm proud of that.

Remember your scanner? Compare the code there and the crypters code and one can easily see that you took 0 part in the development of it. The different in skills is simply too large to be filled with some "help" and "teaching".
