Description:
  • I am very excited to announce the release of Spartan Scanner. This is a freeware scanner that uses the viruscheckmate API to scan any files against 36 different Anti-Virus Softwares.

The way it works is fairly simple, upon running the scanner you put in your viruscheckmate APIkey and you can scan as many files as you want.

    Features

    • Scanner: The actual scanner. You can load in a file, scan it and double click the file to see the actual scan.

    • View details: If you right click the loaded file you can click view details, which will show a window with basic information about the scanned file. This includes file name, file size, scan date, detection rate, MD5 and SHA256 hash.

    • Copy URL: When right clicking the scanned file you can click copy URL to copy the URL of the scan to your clipboard.

    • VCM Image result: When right clicking the file you can click VCM result. This will show you a window with a picture of the VCM result. Below the picture it will show the full link of this picture with MyBB image tags around it. Upon clicking this link it will automatically be copied to your clipboard.

    • Remove from list: This speaks for itself. You can remove a selected file from your file list inside the program.

FAQ:

Question: Will you release the source for this?
Answer: Yes, if you want it feel free to PM me.

Question: Will you give me your APIkey?
Answer: NO! Don't ask me for it. If you do you'll end up on my ignore list.

Question: Why did you create this program?
Answer: Because I was bored and I couldn't find anything like this online (a working one atleast).

Question: In what language did you code this?
Answer: vb.NET.

Question: Did you code this from scratch?
Answer: No. I used a source I found online from a few years ago which was outdated and incomplete.

Thanks. It's my first .net program so I thought I'd just make it freeware.
