Microsoft spying on people - hydrophobic - Mar 10, 2018 Does windows 10 really have spyware? if it does then should I downgrade to windows 7? I use linux to do fishy things most of the time, but I also use windows 10 alot, and I really really dont want to send any "statistics", even if it is anonymous. RE: Microsoft spying on people - PerfectStorm - Mar 10, 2018 Will Microsoft unlawfully use basic statistical information about your PC against you, or share it to other resources without lawful reason? no. Its not really personal. Would you care? Are they interested in your Porn activities? no. Is it possible you are caught breaking into banking accounts and somehow Microsoft has legal grounds to disclose "information" to support that? Sure. If you gave it to them. Goodluck with the War you're fighting. RE: Microsoft spying on people - Deany - Mar 10, 2018 If you're connected to the internet you're not going to be anon no matter what OS you use just use shit that werks and call it a day RE: Microsoft spying on people - PerfectStorm - Mar 10, 2018 (Mar 10, 2018 03:18 AM)Japanese Wrote: If you're connected to the internet you're not going to be anon no matter what OS you use Indeed, I dont think downgrading to Windows 7 is remotely a solution 😁 RE: Microsoft spying on people - Deany - Mar 10, 2018 (Mar 10, 2018 03:20 AM)PerfectStorm Wrote: Indeed, I dont think downgrading to Windows 7 is remotely a solution 😁 Not really a downgrade, I myself use win7 cause I prefer it "if it ain't broke don't fix it" RE: Microsoft spying on people - PerfectStorm - Mar 10, 2018 (Mar 10, 2018 03:21 AM)Japanese Wrote: Not really a downgrade, I myself use win7 cause I prefer it Its still evil corp. no matter what version you have, RE: Microsoft spying on people - Deany - Mar 10, 2018 (Mar 10, 2018 03:24 AM)PerfectStorm Wrote: Its still evil corp. no matter what version you have, Eh, that's true. I'd use Mint but I need it for "muh gaymes" lol RE: Microsoft spying on people - webdev77 - Mar 10, 2018 FYI Windows 7 now has nearly identical telemetry software to Windows 10, so you are sharing equally as much information regardless of which OS you are using unless you have specifically blocked and disabled such features.
