Thread missing Author - Carl Elias - Apr 12, 2018
So this was a little odd, but not sure if it was a bug or what

Look at the highlighted thread, and you see it is missing an Author. You go to the OP's account and search his threads, and the thread is not there (or at least I can't find it).
Probably not a huge deal, but just pointing it out.

No really, I was wondering the same thing.
It also posted the thread twice, so I had to get the other one deleted.
I was unsure if people could even see the thread until they started replying.

Yeah, I feel it probably just didn't store the userid right or something. Who knows. HF every now and then just glitches
(I mean, I do notice a lot of things. I could be considered a stalker ;) but I am not)

The user's account was deleted from the database or merged with another account.

If it posted it twice - Then there was obvious server lag. I'm pretty sure I've seen the no-author thing happen before while posting twice (w/ server lag).

This happens when the account that posted the thread is pruned. Could have also happened during the upgrade to MyBB 1.8x as well.

Yeah there are many ways it light have happened. I simply just wanted to post just to see if it was only me or not and just to make Omni aware
