Constructive or Destructive Community? - Journal - Apr 13, 2018 Hey, In my brief time browsing the forum, I've seen quite an array of personalities. There are threads ranging from legitimate health advice, to tutorials on how to obtain and sell explicit photographs of women, to advice on the best way to compromise a computer system - all publicly available. From the community, do you perceive this platform as a positive influence, or a negative? ~Journal RE: Constructive or Destructive Community? - BeNT- - Apr 13, 2018 It's what you make of it, basically. Many good people here, and knowledge. Also scum as well. And the kids find us with google easily. It's an interesting community, give it a chance. RE: Constructive or Destructive Community? - Aznmigos - Apr 13, 2018 Positive overall. Because we can learn and discuss/teach upon it :-') RE: Constructive or Destructive Community? - Sandeman - Apr 13, 2018 In my many years of being on this forum, very positive. :) RE: Constructive or Destructive Community? - TwistedTechnologies - Apr 13, 2018 No doubt there are toxic and negative people on here. But from what I've seen, when someone has an actual problem, the members here will actually go out of their way to help. So I vote positive. RE: Constructive or Destructive Community? - CALIFORNIAN - Apr 13, 2018 I believe what you've misunderstood what HackForums uses to its platform and that is just the reality of the internet. You can find just about an array of personalities and sets of characters on with any stranger over the internet. But ultimately in my experience and history with HF I would say this is a positive community. RE: Constructive or Destructive Community? - Triangle Eye - Apr 14, 2018 It is a bit of both but when you compare it with the average game forum I would consider it to be destructive. RE: Constructive or Destructive Community? - luke - Apr 14, 2018 Positive. eWhoring and malicious activities make up a very small % of the forumbase. Most shit on here's useful and informative. RE: Constructive or Destructive Community? - 2073436 - Apr 14, 2018 Overall, I've gotten more positive stuff out of HF than negative stuff. By far. RE: Constructive or Destructive Community? - lust - Apr 14, 2018 HackForums is whatever you want it to be. There are people here that can help you, mentor you, and teach you. At the same time, there are people that will scam you, screw you over, and exploit you. You just have to know what you're looking for and go for it. RE: Constructive or Destructive Community? - Journal - Apr 14, 2018 Hey, Interesting to see the communities opinion. Curious as to if aged members share the same views as new members. ~Journal RE: Constructive or Destructive Community? - Bluffer - Apr 14, 2018 Like any COMMUNITY you have piece of shit people and great people. It's all about what you make of your time on HF. I make mine as great as I can. |
