Later - test - Aug 19, 2018

Taking a 3 month minimum vacation ban at the end of tonight minimum but doubt I'll return.
Met some cool people on here but starting a new career in the military next week and want to focus 100% on it at least until I am settled in.

Won't have access to HF while I'm at basic anyway which is the 3 months minimum. Not to mention I've heard from people already in the forces (who have been to places like Iraq/Afghanistan/East Timor) that it's one of the toughest jobs mentally. I don't use HF for anything productive anymore, only for killing time and enjoyment of which I have very little. Besides, I never said I was leaving permanently otherwise I would just ask for an account closure. Eventually I would like to come back but I want to be 100% settled in at my new job before I do and even if I do it would be purely to lurk.

Sounds like you have the right mind-set my dude. You got this shit. But yea HF would be a nice little escape from the stress in my opinion. But i'll hopefully be here when you're back! Id love to hear about it all.

I highly doubt you'll be deployed after basic. I'm closing in to 3 years and haven't deployed yet. All I do is work, video games and study.

You're right. I'll go straight into employment training for the next 6 months. Considering I am doing a job which can result in major loss of life if I fuck up, I want to put 100% into it with no distractions.
