You have the same network access as youo do with a desktop or laptop and you carry it in your pocket. Seriously consider how much of a problem peopole have when they loose their phone, they panic. - All their contacts are on there - All their communications both text and email are logged on the device - Most people do online banking on their phones meaning their financial information is also stored on their phone. Long story short. A phone is more valuable to hit with a backdoor data wise than a home computer now a days. RE: Whats with the rising need for adroid rats? - sh4moon - Dec 28, 2018 you're carrying a potential bug with you everywhere you go. plus mobile security isn't as developed as other areas such as server or pc security. for example, if you leave your phone lying around unlocked it takes less than a minute to backdoor that thing (I'm working on getting my time down though ;) ). once you're in you have access to tons of data. banking info, social media accounts, any network that phone connects to, user location, listen to any conversation and see anything the phone camera can see. you can access text, email, calls, call logs.
