In my opinion, yes taxes do go to some good things such as VA disability and schools, roads etc.
However, a majority of the taxes we are forced to pay are actually unconstitutional. If you don't pay, they lock you up and spend even more tax payer money.
For those of you with land in the USA here is a helpful tip from me to you.
Are you tired of paying land tax for your own land? All you have to do to stop paying is to file for a land patent. 🤝

I dislike it like most everyone, I am sure. But I understand why I pay them, and the importance of that money. I can appreciate where the funds go and dislike paying them at the same time though.

What I dont like is for example politicians willfully spending tax money to take private flights to god knows where.

I consider it a cost to do business. The people in charge of allocating the tax money are a bunch of fucktards, just assume that money is as good as gone and won't benefit you in any way.

Pretty communist is how I feel. Raise 'em higher, pay for more people's healthcare, for social services, and for public education. Heck maybe even get wild and pay to fix some infrastructure or line NASA's pockets a little again.
This works best in combination with a slashed military budget ;)
I couldn't post the link here bc new; but google "top countries military spending" and have yourself a hearty chuckle at how much the US wastes on it's absurdly-powerful-already military. 610 billion to the next runner up, China, at 228 billion. Then Saudi Arabia at 69 billion, and Russia at 66 billion.

We need taxes as much as we hate them. We are overtaxed, me being in one of the most taxed states in the U.S. It sucks horribly but without them we would be screwed way more than we already are.
