Daycare closed down due to legal issues - frostbite - May 10, 2019
The daycare my kid is at unexpectedly closed down due to the owner having legal issues. I paid for the month of may on the 6th and they closed down the 7th. Since I had my daughter in the day care for the 1st and 2nd of the month can I still dispute the payment?

You could try and dispute it but if the company is failing they probably have no money and will go bankrupt.

We submitted it via check. The biggest issue was that the owner of the daycare knew of this charge (Child sex charges) way before Monday and never wanted too disclose any of this to the teachers/parents.

You should be able to get your money back & probably could go to court over it but that in itself could cost a lot.

Ah damn ok.
That's the worst.. Once that check is cashed you rarely can reverse it. Sorry.
Legal action or trying to have the company refund.

I certainly would and without hesitation. If I pay for a service of any sort I expect that service to be performed, the same philosophy should belong to everyone. Get your money back and don't be afraid to be an ass if necessary.

We put a dispute in for the payment. We go through a military bank so they are usually good with this stuff.
