I got served today at work for a court case - Spam - May 28, 2019
So I was fucking with this girl for a little while but then I cut ties and haven't talked to her in about 7 months now. All of a sudden some random guy is in my office looking for me and gives me this piece of shit paper

Hackforums aren't your lawyers. You're best to go seek the council of someone with expertise.
I'm sure the redacted part of this document tells you what you need to do.

Oh, you know you can just ignore court summons, no problem. I mean, what do you do if the cops are chasing you on foot? Run fast as hell. What do you do if the cops are chasing you on the road? Drive fast as hell. What do you do if the cops tell you to show up to court?

If you don't like it then leave the country. You can't really fight the legal system - especially not in the US. If they want your DNA, the only way to really avoid it is by leaving the country.

The only way to legally dodge it is if they served you less than 8 days until the court date but I don't know when you got served or when the court date is. Or it was served on a Sunday, which I doubt.

I suppose the obvious question is, do you think you could be the father of this lady's kid? Did you take precautions? Do the dates line up? Have you had any contact with her recently other than this, did she try and talk to you or anything?
