Lost 2FA / Cannot login - smartyy - May 31, 2019
I haven't used HF in more that 1 year and now when I tried to login into my old account, I can't because of the 2FA/2GA.
I also changed phones since then and forgot about the 2FA for HF.
I have a 16-digit recovery code, but when I try to add and use it in the Authy App, it does not work. (don't think it's for HF)
I know the Username, Password and have access to the email address of my old account.
I was a L33T member...
I can provide the UID and IP Country/City as proof that I'm the owner.
You can clearly see that the account has been unused for more than a year.
I've also sent a message using the Contact form but got no response so far.
Is it possible to disable 2FA on my old account so I can login?
If yes, then I can provide more info to a staff member.

OP you should have backups saved just for this issue.
However account recovery is no longer a option.
It’s your responsibility to take care of your account login information.

Did you try sending an email to see upon the request. I am sure that would of helped your situation better.

You can no longer do account recovery. When utilizing 2FA, backup codes were generated. It is your responsibility to keep those safe and somewhere accessible. Sorry friend.

Yeah you're pretty muched fucked. Buy like 2 extra phones/PC's and put authy on them. That's what I did. Backups backups backups... lol
