Can't find vulnerabilities - dmdarapt - Jun 13, 2019 Hi, I have been playing around with Metasploit + Armitage for awhile now scanning large blocks of IPs for systems with vulnerabilities but I have not been able to find anything (I am just practicing, not going to do any damage). I was wondering if this was commonplace or not? I remember doing this years ago and I found plenty but now not a one. I have been locating machines and then doing a hail-mary attack but nothing works. RE: Can't find vulnerabilities - dracx - Jun 13, 2019 bruh it's normal, metasploit and other related tools only rely on looking/scanning for known vulns, what you might need is called 0Day exploits. Learn more bout it. Want to practice get a vulnerable VM from VulnHub.com and practice in your own network. And yes sometimes services crash during scans so you probably crashed a few services already. |
