Please could you share some more information including the HTML + CSS sided code? Most of the times these kind of problems are easy to fix.

For reference next time, your question was not concise and did not contain any examples of what you 1. Tried before, 2. Was doing. Both are steps usually found necessary to help with solutions.
Also just some tips and tricks, there are tons of bootstrap tutorials that teach you how to create beautiful navigations of all kinds, as well as beautiful sliders, hero sections and so much more, I definitely suggest going on YouTube to start off with as a search there can pretty much deal with most of your issues.
There is also bootstrap documentation.

I like the way how you welcomed a newby and tried to help. Being a newby in every community, online or offline can be like that. There should be a difference between a newby and an old user. If we attack newbies on a post that looks funny to us, we should expect the new user to never come back.
