Open task manager and click CPU so it organizes to what's draining the most CPU data. You gotta tell us what's causing the high CPU for us to help. Could be Superfetch/Sysmain but can't really know until we get some screenshots.

If by any chance you do see Superfetch or Sysmain then follow these steps:Here (Click to View)

Try also to remove all the bloatware that most computers ship with.

RE: [Check-Up] my cpu is really high - Bastille - Aug 30, 2019

In order to remove bloatware you can now use Adwcleaner, which includes this feature, in addition of addware removal.

The first step, as said previsouly, is to determine which processus is high consuming your CPU's ressources.

Be aware that if you disable some services, it will impacts your OS. Besides, some of them have a special behavior >
- if you disable a service, or if it can't starts correctly, it will automatically be rerun

To prevent that, with an admin account, follow these steps :
> Press Windows Key + R
>Type services.msc
> Localize the concerned services
> Right click on it
> Click on properties
> Go into the "Recovery" tab
> For the three elements at the top (First, Second, Subsequent failures), select "Take no action"
> Save

Then you can disable a service properly.

However, if you have to disable some, don't forget to check it before on the internet what is the purpose of them. If you don't know or are not sure, don't by shy to ask us 🙂

Will be glade to help you
