Fake contests. - Blogger - Sep 22, 2019

There are two contests from the same person that have not been completed.

This was meant to be done 7 days ago: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=6003012
This was meant to be done 20 days ago: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=6002084

I'd report them, but the last posts are beyond the threshold.

Great catch, indeed appears to be fake contests if nobody got anything.

Also this is offtopic but i noticed in your sig that you are a blogger, just so you are aware, HF is doing blogs now aswell.

lol I know. I don't have time to blog for anyone but myself. I hardly pump out content so when I do, I have to use it wisely.

Contact staff if you are allowed to repost your tech relates blogs since they are your own content.
Anyways just a suggestion i could see why you want your blogs to be limited to your own site only but wirh some credits, if allowed you will gain more traffic to your own site.

I see a private message from the OP to a member who he claims won.

RE: Fake contests. - Prepper - Sep 22, 2019

The person could have forgotten about it, some people do get busy and things get put off a bit longer then expected. But I do think some people just make these fake contests just to gain popularity.

Every contest/giveaway I have done I have completed. Sometimes I take a day or so extra but I still get it done.

Another thing I don't get is I seen some threads not too long ago with people posting bytes contests for X amount but then they have way less then they are offering in the contest.

EDIT: Just seen what Omni posted so I guess there is the answer.

Ah ok. Just a lack of response in the thread then.

The user was on an hour prior to me making this thread. He's on a lot and should have received at least a dozen alerts for his threads after the contest was supposed to be finished. But even if he was busy doing other things on here, he shouldn't have closed his thread and I'm sure he could have found time in 20 days to see the contest all the way through.

People throwing bytes contests can always buy or earn the bytes.
