Add ability to see bans.php for Ub3r again - 335i - Sep 23, 2019

This was super useful to see if a user is just on vaca ban or got banned for something else.

Ex. I was scammed by a member and he's banned now, wondering if he's just vaca'd or actually got banned. If he's just vaca banned i might as well leave the dispute up but otherwise there's not much of a point

Why would you not leave a dispute up, regardless of what happened to the user in question? That makes no sense.

Omniscient has made it clear he doesn't want to reintroduce the feature for members and even though I do share your opinion that it's interesting to see, members don't really need the feature as it gives no advantage other then to start more drama regarding a ban.

That being said, there's been some new policies around for a while now that has members getting warned and limited (functionality wise) instead of banned. So if a user is actually banned it's most likely a vacation ban, a ban pending closure, or a permanent ban. There are exceptions of course but those should be rare.

Gotcha, makes sense. Thanks for the info

Done.

You're the only member who made a reasonable argument for allowing it.

Allowing it for Vendors too. Some Vendors are still L33t.
