Re-Installed Windows - E:/ Drive Help - Miles Teller - Nov 11, 2019 So I changed something in my Registry (tried to fix my cd rom) and it broke my laptop. I was unable to boot windows, so I used the Reinstall option with the Keep My Files. I still have all my files and shit downloaded, but most are on my E: Drive. My computer will detect everything on the C: Drive but not E:. An example is if I go to Add or Remove programs and filter by Drive, nothing will populate if I hit E Drive. Additionally, is there a way I can copy everything from the windows.old folder and put it onto a regular folder for my pc? Thanks RE: Re-Installed Windows - E:/ Drive Help - archangel.dmitry - Nov 11, 2019 "Keep files" means just that, no registry settings for installed programs is correctly restored. You can copy data files but programs will have to be reinstalled. |
