Imagine....a Paypal dispute for $0.01 | BV1 - HF Member Alert - Cyber Rick - Dec 13, 2019

Imagine having someone open a dispute on Paypal for $0.01...I would open up a contract dispute but unfortunately, the user never created a contract with me and instead only ordered on-site :/

Okay so here is the story, TLDR at the bottom.

Backstory: I own a LEGAL & LEGITIMATE web-hosting company (thread: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=6010912)

Story: The user BV1 - https://hackforums.net/member.php?action=profile&uid=3183372 ordered a trial month of web-hosting from me from our website for $0.01. He signed up with fake information (IP from California, Texas phone number that's not in service, and New York address. He also used a fake name and none of it matched his Paypal account from which the $0.01 payment was made).

After signing up with a non-existent domain (loldedicatedpanel.com) which is still currently available for purchase, within a few minutes the user-generated 1.22TB of files likely trying to incapacitate the server and causing our automatic system to block the account to prevent abuse. After doing so the user posted on my sales thread stating
"My hosting account was terminated without warning. What gives? I lost a lot of data.". I PMed the user to look into it because at the time I didn't correlate that user and the hosting account, however, he gave me his information and I matched it up. I advised the user of his abuse and he had the nerve to pull the "You have unlimited storage as a feature and its not against your tos, I checked" card.

Well, it actually is part of our TOS, as per https://hqithosting.net/terms.html which the user agreed to before completing their order,
it very specifically states Under "Prohibited Uses", "Any form of file hosting, file storage, cyberlocker,
leeching or similar activity is prohibited".

Once I advised the user of this he stopped responding and a few hours later I got this

I just want you to know BV1, I am fighting this not for the $0.01 but for the principle. If you asked for the $0.01 I would have happily gave it to you but your actions are immature. My response to Paypal:

TLDR: User BV1 purposely abused his trial web-hosting package then opened a PayPal dispute.

Yup....I responded to the claim and am letting Paypal take care of it. I explained everything clearly in the dispute response for Paypal and attached proof for them to review.

Lol I don't care about the penny. Just hate people that pull that kind of crap. Hopefully, Paypal bans his account.

Closing since this is a deal dispute and not in the deal dispute forum.
