Possibly Switching To PC Gaming - Superb - Feb 17, 2020 Hello everyone, I have recently been considering switching from Console Gaming (Xbox One) to PC gaming. I have found a few interesting pre built PC’s in my area on Facebook Marketplace. I recently got a Dell S2716DGR monitor and the response is incredible and that’s on an Xbox... I was curious to see everyone’s opinion on the matter. I am not a crazy gamer I play maybe two hours a day. Although I have only ever played consoles and it’s been that way since I was little. I am not sure on how the transition may be and was looking for some feedback. RE: Possibly Switching To PC Gaming - 335i - Feb 17, 2020 Switching to PC is definitely game changing I can still be somewhat productive even while I’m gaming, just a quick alt tab and I’m back to work RE: Possibly Switching To PC Gaming - Psychogenic - Feb 17, 2020 I second Lowkey's statement. You will not regret it and there's so much more you can do on a PC. RE: Possibly Switching To PC Gaming - oRequiem - Feb 18, 2020 It's a really good decision. But some games could be better on console than pc or even exclusive that might interest you. But it's a good transition. RE: Possibly Switching To PC Gaming - tacticalcatboy - Feb 20, 2020 beware of the tryhards in cod tho, but anyways best of luck! RE: Possibly Switching To PC Gaming - stupidforums - Feb 20, 2020 PC is better just because of the fact that you can mod the shit out of most games. And if you can't mod it, it's probably not very fun. RE: Possibly Switching To PC Gaming - tina300 - Feb 20, 2020 Pc is way better but im too stupid to build a better one and spend my money on other things. RE: Possibly Switching To PC Gaming - device - Feb 21, 2020 PC is awesome, you can also use XBOX controller if you are use to it. Consoles are great but you will always be more limited than on PC, maybe check the next-gen consoles but i'm sure PC will dominate. RE: Possibly Switching To PC Gaming - Herbert - Feb 21, 2020 There are only 3 reasons to stay on console. - Console exclusives - You play a lot with friends - No funds to buy a new PC PC outperforms console all day. I enjoy the comfort of laying in my bed, and though I do perform better on Mouse and Keyboard (for fps games) I very much prefer using a controller for most games. (Some games have some of the shobbiest gunplay for console; IE Resistance. A high quality fps game would be Apex Legends; if every game had gunplay like that game, oof. ) RE: Possibly Switching To PC Gaming - Herbert - Feb 21, 2020 (Feb 21, 2020 07:43 AM)Manks Wrote: I enjoy the comfort of laying in my bed, and though I do perform better on Mouse and Keyboard (for fps games) I very much prefer using a controller for most games. You can connect your controller to pc with a bluetooth usb dongle and have the same experience. Same experience had a higher cost I have the Steam console, works pretty well. I'd have to pay roughly $600 MORE dollars (on top of console) to play Apex Legends well. RE: Possibly Switching To PC Gaming - Herbert - Feb 21, 2020 (Feb 21, 2020 07:46 AM)Manks Wrote: And the PC? Is that not part of it? Higher expenses comes with better quality, unlike console where you're paying more than what it's worth. not having counted PS3. And most games are locked at 30 fps. |
