Can I install RATs on my virtual machines (Virtual box)? - Jordi - Mar 22, 2020 I installed the same file with my rat (#) in my old computer and at a virtual machine (Virtual Box). It works when I open the encrypted file with the rat in my old computer with same windows version. Because of that the problem is not that. My file with the # rat encrypted starts, says connecting..., but never connects on my virtual machine. I found this on google "In an attempt to evade analysis and bypass security systems malware authors often design their code to detect isolated environments. Once such an environment is detected the evasion mechanism may prevent the malicious code from running, or it may alter the malware’s behavior to avoid exposing malicious activity while running in a VM." Also, it may or may not work correctly on a VM. RE: Can I install RATs on my virtual machines (Virtual box)? - Jordi - Mar 27, 2020 (Mar 23, 2020 07:43 PM)Simplicity!
