I installed the same file with my rat (#) in my old computer and at a virtual machine (Virtual Box). Same windows version. The rat starts in both machines, but it cannot connect at my virtual machine, only in my old computer

It works when I open the encrypted file with the rat in my old computer with same windows version. Because of that the problem is not that. My file with the # rat encrypted starts, says connecting..., but never connects on my virtual machine. I found this on google "In an attempt to evade analysis and bypass security systems malware authors often design their code to detect isolated environments. Once such an environment is detected the evasion mechanism may prevent the malicious code from running, or it may alter the malware’s behavior to avoid exposing malicious activity while running in a VM." Thanks, from my google search 127.0.0.1 is the local loopback for every PC |
