Hey folks, it's been a while since my latest update on my dogeflipper trading script.
Because i can't edit my second update thread anymore, i've decided to start a new one and keep you update one the profits and the development of the script here instead.
For the people who haven't read about my script before, please have a look at my previous threads. I explain the scripts functionalities in quite some detail there:

Okay, so since that's done, let's get back into it!
Development wise there haven't been large changes since i last updated my previous thread.
I tweaked a few little things here and there which improved the overall stability of the script quite a bit, but i haven't been able to implement larger features like stop loss functionality as off yet (I'm still quite busy with my finals).

Profit wise, on the other hand, a few things have happened since i last updated my previous thread.
Since my latest update the four instances of my script which i'm running in parallel managed to complete a total of three profitable trading cycles resulting in an aditional profit of 0.03330470 BTC or $372.55 when calculated with the current trading price of $11186.39 per BTC.
This bring the total up from 0.21953462 BTC to 0.25283932 BTC or $2828, meaning that we have finally surpassed the 0.25 BTC profit mark as well as the $2.5k profit mark!

Trades on instance 1 - profit = 0.02326480 BTC:

I mean sure it will work for a bit, but what happens when the bot buys the top like this recent pump? Your money is basically stuck there until the next pump which could be months...

You can adjust the trading boundaries to your liking. I for example didn't expect the recent tik tok related doge pump and therefore i did "miss out on some gains" and the scripts didn't trade for a while - close to 3 weeks - because my trading range was set between 26 and 30 stats. This wasn't a problem for me though, because on doges way up it completed some trades and i ended up holding BTC, which gained value by itself as well. Also, i didn't adjust my trading ranges when doge pumped, because it was quite obvious that the tik tok related pump wouldn't be able to sustain itself.
Anyhow, you are right to some extent: buy using the dogeflipper you can end up holding bags for a while if you don't set your trading boundaries wisely and you enter the market at local minimum or maximum. If you go for the long term though and set your barriers accordingly, the profits will outscale the risk of ending up holding bags for a while, especially if you run multiple instances in parallel at different price points.

Here is another small profit update.
In the last few weeks the script has completed 3 trading cycles, which resulted in a total profit of 0,03374392 BTC or $400 when calculated with the current exchange rate of $11,856.01 per BTC.
Again only instance 1 and 2 were completing trades for now.

Just curious bc all these little trades can add up for taxes

That largely depends on the price i would have been able to get out at. Assuming that i've bought the majority of the doge i'm currently trading with at 28 sats and i would have been able to get out somwhere inbetween 50 and 60 sats per doge, a 2 x in btc value would have been possible. Anyhow i didn't anticipate the doge pump, mainly because it hasn't pumped significantly in over a year. Therefore i missed out on that opportunity.
Yes that's true, taxes add up quite a bit when you do multiple trades, but it's not to bad.
