17-Year-Old 'Mastermind', 2 Others Behind the Biggest Twitter Hack Arrested - flavoral - Jul 31, 2020
Seems like the group behind the recent Twitter Hack where they promoted Bitcoin scams got arrested.
Quote:According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Mason Sheppard, aka "Chaewon," 19, from the United Kingdom, Nima Fazeli, aka "Rolex," 22, from Florida and an unnamed juvenile was charged this week with conspiracy to commit wire fraud, conspiracy to commit money laundering, and the intentional access of a protected computer.

If I am correct, they basically SE'ed their way in as well. Just goes to show that a well planned SE attack, targeted at a small number of employees through a phone spear-phishing attack can take down even a giant like twitter. SE can be just as effective as any computer exploit.
