Why do some avenues, like 43A avenue, have the letter 'A' suffixed? - The Frogger 6 - Nov 1, 2020 If I had one avenue, 43 Ave, and another avenue, 43A avenue, what does the letter 'A' mean? What does it stand for, what does it signify, and what is the difference in location versus an avenue WITHOUT the letter 'A'? Thanks guys!
