$500-600 for core components - drugs - Nov 29, 2020 I got a RTX 3070, but my poor old i7-4790K just bottlenecks the hell out of it, so now I need to upgrade. I already have storage, PSU, case, peripherals, monitors. I just need CPU, motherboard, and RAM. Possibly a new cooler too. I have no issues with buying used, older-gen hardware as well. Take a look at this, it's exactly under $600, if you can't find a 5600X, just go with a 3800x (the total becomes exactly $638.98) or a 3700X if you can't afford more than $600 (it then becomes exactly $588.98), i hope that helps : PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FDMgt8 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor Motherboard: Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) ATX AM4 Motherboard ($189.00 @ B&H) Memory: G.Skill Trident Z Neo 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory ($104.99 @ Newegg) Total: $293.99 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-11-29 06:07 EST-0500 |
