Ethereum is dominant store of value - shreder - Aug 1, 2021

People are paying the most to use Ethereum. Bitcoin is getting out gamed by Sushiswap lmao (The fees for Sushiswap/Uniswap are NOT mining fees that everyone cry about, they are the fees for swapping. Mind blown šŸ˜Ž). There goes the narrative for BTC"when 21m BTC is mined the network will rely on transaction fees". BTC cannot even beat Sushiswap 🤣.

Ethereum is also likely going to reach it's maximum issuance 100 years before Bitcoin thanks to EIP-1559 mechanism that burns a small portion of the gas fee. You can read more about "Why 1559"

Rejoice your new king is HERE.

Question: But doesn't taking away the small fraction of the overall gas fee leave the network slightly more vulnerable?

Answer: No, as only the base fee is only being burned is only part of the entire transaction fee. There is also tipping included in the transaction fee which acts as the incentive for miners to include the transaction sooner. Secondly, Ethereum already does over 10x the crypto fees than Bitcoin. Bitcoin is already considered on of the more secure chains. The tiny fraction of base fee burned will still DWARF BTC in crypto fees interms of security. Finally, Ethereum adopts the minimum necessary issuance. Meaning issue out as little as possible for the MOST security. The potential price increase due to issuance reaching maximum thanks to deflationary pressure will boost the price increasing the security of the network significantly.

Call me crazy, but I honestly can see ETH beating BTC on Market Cap.

Just think about it, they have active developers and has other functions that BTC doesn't.

Also, next london update and ETH 2.0 with PoS and lower fees , smart contracts and DEFI.

Starting to think certain users on HF start threads so that they have an excuse to keep arguing with certain other users on HF lol.

If you think ETH is already a huge competitor to BTC's dominance.. just wait until ETH2.

BTC2 already came out.. its called WBTC on ETH.

Misinformation in this thread is beyond the human limits.

Imagine in 2021 people can't understand why the blocksize is small and the blocktime is set to 10 minutes and create a thread that proves totally....nothing.

Can you point to the misinformation and maybe correct it? And not sure what this thread has to do with block size..

and if it took a year you would be complaining that they just pushed it out asap and its not secure. BTC has the first mover advantage and the big name in crypto, and that cant last forever.

Actually good point the idea of pushing the merger down the road was to ensure that the PoS chain had time to prove itself and mature. The beacon chain upgrades Altair is coming also. Good thing tommie brought that up or I would have forgotten.

If BTC was created in 2021, it’d be a shitcoin pushed by scammers.

First mover advantage never last.

I'm not gonna lie, i hate threads comparing tokens, you guys do realize you don't make that much of a difference right? what ever is meant to happen will happen, i guess it's okay to create awareness / education but these threads sound so salty lmaoo

The person who mined the first one million coins. Lmao. Oh wait.. Lmao.

If Litecoin was the first mover instead of BTC, you wouldn’t even hear the word Bitcoin.

Even if Stasohi created BTC with his anonymous dev team with the purest of intent. It’d be a giant pump and dump.

Would you buy BTC if it were created 2020-2021?

Use case: store of value
Team: anonymous
Low cap gem
Satoshi himself owns 1M BTC.

ā€œ A few large holders commonly referred to as whales continue to own most Bitcoin. About 2% of the anonymous ownership accounts that can be tracked on the cryptocurrency’s blockchain control 95% of the digital asset, according to researcher Flipside Crypto.ā€
